ALFRED HITCHCOCK FILMOGRAPHY

This is an obvious early step to make and to examine. The two movies I've chosen to watch this week are Blackmail, his first full-length sound film and Rear Window one of his most iconic movies. The following a full filmography of a career spanning over 50 years.

HITCHCOCK FILMLOGRAPHY

NOTES:
  • Often a title designer and art director in 'other works', would be interesting to delve deeper into Hitchcoc'ks art education, expertise, career and how he merged it with his filmmaking.
  • Last movie was 'The Family Plot'

Interesting filmography layout by hitchcockwiki.com

Alfred Hitchcock is usually credited with directing 53 films, but he was also involved with dozens of other films and an iconic television series. The following is, we hope, a full list of his oeuvre.

The 53 major films directed by Alfred Hitchcock...

1920s

1930s

1940s

1950s

1960s

1970s

Some sites also credit Hitchcock as being a co-director on Harmony Heaven (1929) with Thomas Bentley, however there is no hard evidence that Hitchcock actually worked on the film. In "Alfred Hitchcock: A Life in Darkness and Light", Patrick McGilligan states that if Hitchcock did work on the film, then his input was minimal.

Television

Unfilmed and Unrealized

The following are films and projects that never saw the light of day, or that were initially announced as being directed by Hitchcock.
